week 5

This  week has been very good for me because i have discovered new things .
I started by PBL. PBL is a very good way of motivating learners .
I have also create a Webquest and a rubric .

WHAT HAVE I DONE DURING WEEK 4?

WHAT HAVE I DONE DURING WEEK 4?  I  started this week by reading the articles about Reading /writing skill- building websites . I read the article of Mei-ya Liang about three Extensive Reading  Activities for ESL/ EFL Student Using E_ books I have also read the one of Jarek Krjka about using internet in ESLWriting Instruction . Ithink that these websites given will help me to improve my teaching . i will first ask my students to have e_mail adrress to start.

week 3

I started week 3 by  reading the article of Lindsay Miller about « developing Listening skills with Authentic Materials .Through this article, I learnt a process for helping learners develop their listening skills . The different tasks such as pre, while and post-Listening  have been very good and simple in its application . I also read the article of Julia Gong about the employment of  C A L L in Teaching second / Foreign Language speak Skills . I have got  information about :

The application of C A L L in Teaching Spoken Language .

a)     Application in the Mechanical Dimension

b)     B) Application  in the Meaningful dimension

c)      C)Application in other Fields

 I have also read and comment on the final project of Aleyda Linares “Building Teaching skills through the interactive web project” .

HOW  AM I GOING TO APPLY ALL THESE THINGS I HAVE LEARNT?

First of all I will try to apply the three tasks taught by LINDSAY I mean the pre-listening task, while listening task post –listening task .

Week 2

Week 2 has been very marvelous for me even ifi have not done many activities like the other teachers . The ABCD learning objective has been a good discovering for me because it is a teaching method which is not used in my school. I used it to teach in one of my classes .It has been appreciated by my other colleagues .I have discovered many searches engines which are very good for us and also our students in  order to make their research.  I have used BING to prepare  a course about listening  comprehension .This week I have also made a project task where I described my students . I have read the post of some teachers. I have been touched by  the one of Masafumi kosaka from Japan .There I discovered that it is not only in my school that we have the problem of computers .My last activity has been the discovering of the nice blog of Myriam

week 2

This week has been  good for me because i have learnt many things about using technology to teach .
My prayer is to have many computers so that my students can use them.
